New corner design. 316 SS pop rivets replace welded seam.

  • Stainless steel bath cage. Measures 12.5" high by 13.5" wide by 17.5" deep. Made from 18 gauge 304 SS.
  • Lid is hinged at back with adjustment slots on both planes.
  • Cage interior showing spot welds. Spot welding is done to keep the HAZ (heat affected zone) to a minimum which reduces stress and distortion.
  • Cage with lid open. Hinge restricts the lid's movement.
  • Bottom of cage showing dual 1/2" risers (left and right).
  • A right angle was added to the front face to increase rigidity and provide a mating surface for the lid. The angle has slots so it can be adjusted up/down.
  • U-Handle and latch knob on the front portion of the lid.
  • T-Handle latch. This includes a jam screw to adjust friction of turning motion. This prevents handle from turning by itself.
  • Latch tang slides under front angle for a positive lock. A dome head cap nut on the front face works as a stop for the latch tang. This prevents it from rotating through its locked position.
  • Bottom of cage showing dual risers. These are attached with screws so other options can be pursued if needed.

  • Retrofit 5.25" handles to be mounted in side flow holes. Nylon inserts and backer plate facilitate mounting. 8-32 SS screws are used as the fasteners.
